Educational Programs > Traveling Art Museum

This program provides traveling exhibitions to bring art to culturally-deprived areas, such as farms, fishing villages, military units, and prisons. Since 1990, the Traveling Art Museum has opened in 315 locations, and has hosted more than 1.7 million visitors. Over the years, it has received great responses and praise from local residents in the areas that it visits.

Since 2008, the tour stops for the Traveling Art Museum will be changed from regional tours to specific locations, such as local cultural centers, nuclear power plants, and KAIST at Daejeon. To inspire and enhance creativity, the museum will work towards promoting the participation of local artists in future tours.
